Strictest in the U.S.

The most stringent requirements in the US. All products must be HVHZ rated and carry Miami-Dade NOA. No exceptions.

Collier County

Coastal Required

Coastal Collier (Naples, Marco Island) requires impact products for all openings. Inland areas may allow shutters with standard windows.

Lee County

Coastal Required

Fort Myers Beach, Cape Coral waterfront, and Bonita Springs coastal require impact glass. Most of Lee County strongly benefits from impact products.

Charlotte County

Recommended

Impact windows are not legally required in most of Charlotte County, but are highly recommended given storm history and insurance premium impacts.
